Origin
The AI Provenance Protocol was originally created at merchi.ai , where the need for a standardised AI content provenance format emerged from building production AI content generation systems. Rather than keeping it as a proprietary feature, the protocol was extracted and released as an independent open standard so that the entire industry can benefit.
merchi.ai is the first reference implementation of APP.
